A commissioned care and support partner.
Gwennol exists to take on support problems that conventional provision is not currently meeting. Commissioners give us responsibility for a defined requirement — a child, a young person, a family or a situation — and we design the package, mobilise the practitioners, manage the delivery and report back. Our workforce capability exists to make that service deliverable; it is not the product we sell.
Our position
Evidence before promise.
Gwennol’s model is built around taking responsibility for the support we are commissioned to deliver, not around supplying hours. The practitioner tier is matched to the work, supervision is named, and the expected evidence is agreed in advance.
Phase 1 operates across South Wales and the South West of England through non-regulated family support, contact, assessment, outreach and practice-development services.
Practice architecture

Senior Practitioner
Supervised contact, complex family support and edge-of-care work.
Qualified Practitioner
Social-work-qualified assessment, complex risk and practitioner supervision.
Clinical
Psychology, psychotherapy and clinical formulation / consultation.
Where we are heading
Building regulated capability.
Gwennol is developing its regulated care capability in Wales and England. That work is underway, but we do not describe ourselves as registered and we do not accept work that would require a registration we do not hold. Our current regulatory position is set out in full, and every referral is screened against it before acceptance.
